Hachya Franklin BS - Music Therapy

Hachya is passionate about two things: people and percussion! She is the owner of Faithfully Fit, a unique mobile fitness studio serving the Arkansas River Valley, and a percussion instructor for the Community School of the Arts in Fort Smith, AR. Hachya enjoys teaching private percussion lessons, creating Drums Alive® programming, facilitating large drumming experiences, and certifying new Drums Alive® instructors. Hachya travels as a Master Trainer and presenter for Drums Alive® North America and Remo, Inc. Coupled with her experience as a Music Therapist and SilverSneakers® FLEX Instructor, Hachya’s interactive teaching skills--which have been described as “contagiously enthusiastic”-- are in demand especially among senior care facilities, elementary schools, and special needs programs. Hachya serves as a consultant and provides continuing education to music and PE educators as well as music and recreation therapists. Her partnership with Tivity, Inc. was instrumental in adding the Drums Alive® Golden Beats® format to the approved list of SilverSneakers® FLEX classes. Hachya utilizes the healing properties of music, drumming and active music-making to create group fitness experiences which are engaging, effective, and fun for all ages and abilities!
Crystal Cole BS - Recreation Administration

Often known as “The Bubble Lady” or “Drummer Girl”, Crystal currently teaches Drums Alive Golden Beats® classes in 13 senior living facilities throughout Western and Northwestern Arkansas. Within 3 months of joining her first Drums Alive® class in 2012, Crystal began leading that same class and committed herself to becoming a Drums Alive® instructor and a certified SilverSneakers® FLEX instructor. Using the Drums Alive® program as a foundation for all she does, she is dedicated to combining music with movement and drumming techniques to create group fitness experiences that are not only beneficial to the mind and body but are also absurdly fun, exciting and uplifting for the soul. One of her participants once said, “Drums Alive® class is so much fun that I forget I am even exercising.” Crystal also leads classes for those of all ages, all abilities and all fitness levels including those with developmental and physical disabilities, Autism, various forms of Dementia and more.

Cindy is a strong woman of faith with a contagious smile who carries that faith and happiness into everything she does. After meeting Crystal at a Golden Beats class in Barling, Cindy became a Drums Alive® instructor. Over the past several years Cindy has become an integral part in providing Drums Alive® classes and events to residents in the River Valley. Cindy and her husband, Jimmy, have been married for 40 years and are members of Community Bible Church in Fort Smith.
